Ultra-high hardness
The Diamond Die-casting Mold use nano-scale diamond coating technology, and the surface hardness can reach more than HV9000, which is nearly 10 times higher than traditional mold steel (HV800-1000).
Excellent thermal stability
The thermal conductivity of diamond coating is as high as 2000W/m·K, which is 5 times that of copper. It can quickly and evenly disperse the local high temperature (600-800℃) during the die-casting process to avoid cracking caused by thermal stress.
Excellent demoulding performance
The contact angle of the coating surface is greater than 120°, forming a natural metal-repellent property to reduce the adhesion of aluminum alloy/magnesium alloy melt. Compared with uncoated molds, the amount of release agent used is reduced by 40%, and the cooling cycle is shortened by about 15%, which improves production efficiency.
