When we are making high-purity graphite molds, we should all know that this product is a product obtained after processing by an industrial furnace, so when processing, if there is no correct operation, it is very likely to affect the mechanical properties of the product, resulting in its rupture, affecting the cycle of use.
So when operating, what are the reasons for these problems in high-purity graphite molds?
1. In fact, the quenching temperature of steel is much lower than that of the mold.
2. The spheroidization process before quenching of the die steel is not handled correctly, and the spheroidization structure is poor.
3. The quenching heating temperature is high or the holding time is too long.
4. The mold in the furnace is not properly placed, and it is easy to overheat around the electric stage or heating element.
5. Improper selection of quenching and heating process parameters will cause overheating in thin sections and sharp corners of graphite molds with large cross-section changes.

The above is that when we are making, the high-purity graphite mold has problems due to the process, so in order to reduce these problems, we must strictly control the quenching temperature and holding time. And when processing, pay attention to the instrument calibration of the equipment.
