1. High temperature resistance performance
After experimentation, the operating temperature of carbon grade bearings can generally reach 350 ℃; Metal graphite grade bearings are also 350 ℃; Electrochemical graphite grade bearings can reach 450-500 ℃ (under light load conditions), and their physical and mechanical properties remain unchanged. If used in vacuum or protective atmosphere, their operating temperature can reach 1000 ℃.
2. Good self-lubricating performance
It has good self-lubricating performance for two main reasons. One is determined by the properties of graphite itself, and the other is that graphite material has strong adhesion with most metal materials. When in contact with metal, a layer of graphite film will form on its surface, reducing wear and friction coefficient. Due to its excellent self-lubricating performance, graphite bearings can operate dry without adding lubricating oil during use, therefore, they are widely used in the industrial sector.
