Antimony-impregnated graphite is a self-lubricating, wear-resistant sealing material created by deeply impregnating molten antimony into the micro-pores of carbon graphite using specialized vacuum or pressure processes. Because antimony uniquely expands as it solidifies, it perfectly fills all internal microscopic voids and eliminates micro-porosity.

This material not only inherits graphite's excellent self-lubrication and heat resistance but also gains significantly enhanced mechanical strength and density thanks to the infused metal. Consequently, it is widely used for high-end mechanical seals and wear-resistant bearings in the petrochemical, aerospace, and chemical industries, particularly excelling under extreme pressures and harsh operating conditions.
