1. When transporting, lift it gently and do not break the surface coating, and do not roll it.
2. Store in a dry environment, away from moisture.
3. When used in coke ovens, a crucible seat should be used at the bottom, and the diameter of the seat should be slightly larger than the bottom diameter of the crucible so that the bottom is fully supported.
4. When loading into the furnace, it must not be tilted, and the upper opening must not be higher than the furnace mouth. If support bricks are used between the top of the crucible and the furnace wall, the bricks should be higher than the top of the crucible. The load-bearing capacity of the furnace cover should be on the furnace wall.
5. The diameter of the coke block used is smaller than the distance between the furnace wall and the crucible. It should fall by itself when added and should not be pounded.
6. It takes 1-1.5 hours for the crucible to be heated from the air temperature to 200℃ before use (especially during the initial baking, the crucible must be constantly turned so that the inside and outside of the crucible can be slowly heated up and down at the same time, and must not exceed 100℃. After it cools down slightly and the water vapor is exhausted, the temperature continues to rise. Use another 1 hour to raise the temperature to about 800°C. Do not bake for too long. (If improper preheating causes peeling or bursting, it is not a quality problem, and our company will not be responsible for the return or exchange.)
7. The inner wall of the furnace must be kept intact to avoid flame deflection.
8. Use a burner for heating. Do not spray the flame directly on the crucible, but on the crucible seat.
9. Use appropriate crucible tongs for lifting and loading.
10. When loading metal, first crumble the material into the bottom and then insert the metal ingot, but do not place it too close or horizontally to avoid the crucible breaking due to metal expansion.
11. Once the crucible is used, it is best to continuously melt it and reduce the intermittent time.
12. If you stop using it, scoop out the remaining liquid to avoid swelling and cracking when you continue to use it.
13. During the smelting process, the amount of refining agent must be strictly controlled. Excessive addition will correspondingly reduce the life of the crucible. And clean up the crust regularly to avoid affecting the appearance and capacity of the crucible. If the crust is too thick, it will also cause the upper part to swell and crack.
