A Graphite Insulation Pad is a flexible, high-temperature insulation material made from expanded or flexible graphite. It is designed to provide effective thermal insulation and chemical resistance in industrial applications that involve extreme heat and corrosive environments.

 

Features

 

Excellent thermal insulation performance
Graphite Insulation Pad is made of high-purity expanded graphite with a thermal conductivity as low as 5-8 W/(m·K), which is more than 60% higher than the thermal insulation effect of ordinary rubber or silicone insulation pads (thermal conductivity is about 20-30 W/(m·K)).

 

High temperature resistance
Graphite materials can withstand 400-500℃ for a long time in an oxidizing environment, and can withstand temperatures of up to 800℃ in a short term, while ordinary plastic or rubber insulation pads begin to soften and deform above 150℃.

 

High compressive strength
Our products have a compressive strength of ≥15 MPa, which can effectively withstand long-term high temperature loads and mechanical pressure without deformation, collapse or cracking.

 

Excellent anti-oxidation performance
The Graphite Insulation Pad we use have undergone a special anti-oxidation treatment process and can withstand continuous working temperatures of up to 600℃ in the air, and the oxidation rate is significantly lower than that of ordinary graphite products.
